Names of God: Jehovah-‘Izoa Hakaboth, Jehovah-‘Ori, Jehovah-‘Uzam

Jehovah-‘Izoa Hakaboth-Lord Strong-Mighty

Psalm 24:8 (tpt) “You ask, ‘Who is this Glory-King?’ The Lord, armed and ready for battle,

the Mighty One, invincible in every way!”

The Lord is a mighty God and is ready, standing and waiting to fight on our behalf. All we must do is cry out to Him. There is no battle that He will fight that He will lose. He is strong and victorious.

Jehovah-‘Ori-Lord My Light

Psalm 27:1 (nlt) “The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid?

The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?”

God and His word is the light to our path to guide us unto righteousness. When we are following in His light, we have nothing to fear. He will protect us and provide for us. We have no reason to be afraid or to worry.

Jehovah-‘Uzam-Lord Strength in Trouble

Psalm 46:1 (tpt) “God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge!

You’re a proven help in time of trouble—

more than enough and always available whenever I need you.”

God is our ever-present help in times of good and in times of trouble. He is waiting for us to run to Him at any time. He will defend us from our enemies and those that seek to harm us like He defended and protected David from King Saul.

The names of God this month have something in common. They are about God’s light and His strength. When we walk in His light and follow His path, His power and strength are at our disposal to defend us. He will never leave us vulnerable or unprotected if we are obedient to His calling and plan for our life.
