We had a wonderful time ministering in Stamps, Arkansas on October 11th & 13th with Pastor John Buehler and his amazing group of people. On Oct. 11th, Pastor John asked me to go and visit with a young man in the community dying of AIDS. I was not prepared for what I was about to see. It was truly one of the most horrific things I have ever witnessed. This young man’s face and body were totally covered with sores and his skin was flaking off. I was impressed by the Lord to tell him that it was not God’s Will for him to be sick. God did not do this to him, and no matter what he had done, God loved him and desired that he be totally healed and live a long life. I also encouraged him to make sure he was right with God and was not placing blame or anger upon God for what had happened to him. We laid hands on him and cursed the AIDS virus and commanded it to die! We know from the Word of God, healing belongs to us all. When healing does not manifest instantly we have a journey of faith and total trust in God and His Word we must walk out to see the completion of the healing. Our ministry provided that young man with several books and audio CD’s on how to receive healing and we continue to stand and believe with him to be to totally healed!
On October 13th I ministered at Pastor John’s church, Missionary Bible Church. I spoke on the importance of a life totally surrendered to God, God’s amazing love towards us, and God’s power to heal, set free, and deliver from every chain. We saw at least 10 people 10 instantly healed on Sunday morning. Many testified of being healed on the spot. One man who was about 70 years old had pain all throughout his body from a bad back and arthritis, was totally healed. He had not been able to bend over and tie his shoes in twelve years. He was healed and could tie his shoes without pain for the first time in twelve years! Glory to God!
Sunday evening I had the privilege to go to the Lafayette County Jail with Pastor John and minister to a group of about 20 inmates who were incarcerated for various reasons, from drug charges to murder. I was slightly nervous when all the inmates poured into the little 20 x 30 room and filled up every chair, but the nervousness quickly faded when I saw and heard the genuine hunger for the things of God in each man. Normally the jail meeting lasts for about an hour and a half but this time it lasted for three and a half hours! The men were so hungry and open to hear the word of God, they were like sponges. Pastor John spoke for about thirty minutes, then he asked me to speak, I was impressed of the Lord to talk about being to- tally sold out to God, the reality of heaven and hell, God’s amazing love for all, and His will- ingness to heal them right now of any pain or sickness. I gave an invitation for laying on of hands to be healed. No one responded at first then I gave out a word of knowledge about someone dealing with back pain in the room, one young man spoke up and said that he had pain in his back. I asked all the inmates to gather around him lay hands on his back and com- mand it to be healed in Jesus name! They did and he was healed instantly! After that the flood gates opened and four other guys responded to the invitation for healing and were prayed for by their fellow inmates and received instant healing! Glory to God!
