The scripture tells us that, “The heart is wicked above all things and who can know it?” I am very grateful that God knows our hearts, and He will show them to us if we ask.

There is a Scripture that says, “Search me, O God, and know my heart, try me and know my thoughts, show me the evil ways within me and lead me on the way everlasting.” The word has everything we ever need that pertains to life and godliness. Whatever is in our heart comes out of our mouths in an expression of words that heal or hurt.

God spoke the word ”divisive” to me. As I looked it up, the definition is contemptuous, mocking, ridicule, and scorn. Is this what God finds inside our hearts? Are we able to say to the Lord, “Search me, O God! Show me the evil that lurks in my heart that I might repent before your throne sincerely, deeply and fully?” Or, do we allow fear to immobilize us in that place of condemnation where we are unable to do anything for Him because we are locked inside a prison of lies about who we have become in Him?

We are at “heart risk“ when we allow the condemnation from the enemy to keep us from believing in God‘s love. God’s word to us says, “There are three things that remain, faith, hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love.“ The Scripture tells us that His banner over us is love. The Word says love covers a multitude of sin. So, I will use John 3:16 here, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Let us come boldly before the throne as He said we could; and when we are there, let us humble ourselves and ask that He purge and purify the mind of our souls, so we become able to understand how valuable we are to Him. He loved us so much He freely gave His only Son. Jesus loved us so much that He willingly laid aside His deity and took upon Himself the form of a human being, in order that He might experience everything we go through. Now we can diminish our heart risk by repenting, receiving His deliverance and healing, and walking confidently in Him. The Bible says that we should put Him on. Picture in your mind how you put on a coat. This is exactly how we are to put Him on. We need to be a reflection to everyone of who He is and this can only happen as He shows us the evil in our own hearts if we repent of it, and He then leads us on the way everlasting. I pray that every single one of us is able to diminish our  “heart risk” through His divine heart transplant.
